Open Question: SAMOA, TONGA, FIJI, NZ, NESIAN Islands?

Hi, I am looking to live a different lifestyle than the one I currently live on the mainland. Basically want one that is more with nature. I also want to live in a tropical place and with nicer people which these island seem to be what I am looking for. I want to live off the land and live free, maybe be able to get my own food from nature myself (as in get food from the forest or I can raise/grow my own food) and I want to build my own house on land that is free (I can actually build in the middle of a forest) or cheap (not talking about the ghetto parts). In the song "I Love The Islands" by Savage, he says "You don't even need money, you can live off the land. Build a little house and grow from there." Is that true? (He's talking about Sa'moa in case you don't know) Sounds just like what I am looking for. Is English spoken a lot there? I am Filipino, but all polynesians think I am Samoan. All the ladies want me too bwahaha. You know how some tongans and samoans don't get along, well since I look Samoan, would Tongans not like me if I lived in Tonga? One Love I was looking to move to the Philippines, but there is not much free land. So the nesian islands were my next interest. Also, I heard about that tsunami that hit Samoa a while back, I was just wondering how safe it is there if more were to hit if like the tectonic plates moved and caused even bigger tsunamis? Does even the middle of the bigger islands get effected? My respects to everyones loved ones that were affected. Also are the volcanoes on Savaii and Upolu very active? So let me know of any places you know of that fit what I am looking for. Could also live in Guam, New Zealand, PNG, Fiji, any other pacific island or maybe even Austrailia. Thanks! One Love Thanks Kiwigirl. Yeah I don't think I would bring family over to NZ (they aren't ready to change lifestyle really), but I know I should try to get close to another family in NZ for help. Why do you say NZ is safer than the Islands? Thanks Kiwigirl.
